Which formula should I choose?+
The best fit depends on your dog’s age, activity, body condition and dietary needs. 26/16 is a common everyday starting point; 30/25 and 32/32 serve progressively higher energy demands, while Marine formulas offer fish-based options.
Is the feeding calculator right for every dog?+
No. Inukshuk states that its calculator is designed for adult working and performance dogs with elevated energy demands. Puppies, pets and lower-activity dogs should use the appropriate feeding guide.
How should I switch foods?+
Transition gradually by mixing increasing amounts of Inukshuk with decreasing amounts of the current food. Individual dogs differ, so slow the transition if digestive upset occurs.
Why might the serving look smaller?+
Inukshuk formulas are nutrient-dense. Your dog may need less volume than with a less calorie-dense food. Measure carefully and adjust based on body condition.
How should I store the food?+
Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sun, moisture and temperature extremes. Retaining the original packaging also preserves the lot and best-before information.
